Akira Toriyama's Dragonball DAIMA Announcement

In Toriyama's own words, "DAIMA" is a fictional term, spelled "大魔" in Japanese, roughly translating to "Evil" in English. Toriyama explains, "Due to a conspiracy, Goku and his friends are turned small. In order to fix things, they'll head off to a new world! It's a grand adventure with intense action in an unknown and mysterious world."

Nostalgic Yet Refreshing Gameplay

One of the most exciting aspects revealed by Toriyama is Goku's fighting style. "Since Goku has to make up for his petite size, he uses his Nyoibo (Power Pole) to fight, something not seen in a long time," he said. This surely will bring back fond memories while adding a fresh twist to the narrative.

Deep Dive into Dragon Ball Mysteries

According to Toriyama, this new series will "unfold that close in on the mysteries of the Dragon Ball world." He also mentions investing much more into this series than usual. "I came up with the story and settings, as well as a lot of the designs. I'm actually putting a lot more into this than usual," Toriyama adds.

The Takeaway

The Dragon Ball universe is expanding yet again, but this time, it's a tiny world with grand adventures. We can only imagine the epic battles and intricate storylines that await us. Toriyama concludes, "Hope you all enjoy these different-from-usual battles that are cute and powerful!"

So, Dragon Ball aficionados, get ready for a high-stakes adventure in a miniature world. It's a gripping journey you won't want to miss. Stay tuned for more updates on "Dragon Ball DAIMA."
